HIBERNIAN NIGHT AT SLUGGER FIELD BASEBALL OUTING, Thursday, July 12
Here is a chance to visit one of Triple A Baseball’s best parks. Slugger Field opened in 2000 and has been award winning since, noted for integrating an historic rail freight depot as its front door. The Louisville Bats, farm club for the Cincinnati Reds, will take on the Columbus Clippers, affiliate of the Cleveland Indians. Yankee fans may want to check out the stature of Louisville’s own Pee Wee Reese, heart of the Boys of Summer, outside the park.

PRIVATE HIBERNIAN RIVER CRUISE ON THE MARY MILLER, Thursday, July 12
Enjoy a cruise on the Mary M. Miller Riverboat up the Ohio! Named for first female to receive a master’s license to captain a steamboat, the diesel-powered boat with paddlewheel is docked right below the Galt House. You can enjoy the views from the boat’s 3 decks, two that are air conditioned, while enjoying refreshments + a cash bar.
Note for boat fans – docked near by is the Belle of Louisville, the oldest operating River-style steamboat in the world. Named an National Historic Landmark, the belle was built in 1914. Board promptly at 6:30, return at 9 pm
